Old Lyme- June (Vumback) Froggatt, 84, wife of 63 years to Wilfred A.Froggatt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Gladeview Convalescent Home. June was born March 12, 1931 in Meriden a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Nellie (Orzech) Vumback and resided in Meriden most of her life before moving to Old Lyme, CT. She was retired from Meriden-Wallingford Hospital as a cashier. June was a member of the Middletown Emblem Club and First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children , Rev. W. Alan Froggatt Jr and his wife Dr. Deborah L. Froggatt of Beverly, MA, Candace Froggatt of Rocky Hill and Bradley T. Froggatt and his wife Tina of Meriden, her grandchildren, Jennifer (Erik) Michael, Melanie (William) Eaton, Molly Valentin, Emily Valentin, Clare (Brian) Fitzgerald, Blythe Froggatt, Jessica (Greg) Kingsley and four great-grandchildren, Jonathan Michael, Mason Kingsley, Madeline Eaton and Grayson Eaton. June was predeceased by a brother Joseph Vumback. June's Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Congregational Church, 2 Ferry Rd., Old Lyme, CT. 06371. Burial will be private. The Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden have been entrusted with the arrangements.
