In New Haven, June 19, 2007, Justine Hubbard Anderson of 2420 Whitney Ave. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Henry Anderson, Jr. and a daughter in love, Marie Marguerite Duffy. Mrs. Anderson was born in New Haven on August 24, 1926 to the late Charles and Helen Pickett Hubbard. She is survived by her three children: Gary Lee Anderson, of Boston, MA, Bryan Neil Anderson of Milford and Melissa Eve Lewandowski and her husband James of West Springfield, VA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, each of whom she loved dearly: LaShawn Gray of Atlanta, GA, Katherine Duffy Anderson of Boston, MA, U.S. Army Private Bryanna Anderson of West Springfield, VA, Faith Lewandowski, of West Springfield, VA, and Jordan Lewandowski of West Springfield, VA. Mrs. Anderson was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and attended Morgan State University. She was a community activist in the Newhall community, a party leader of Hamden's Republican Party, a Justice of the Peace, a member of Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church of Hamden, and was employed by the Town of Hamden for many years. Funeral Service Monday, June 25 at 10 a.m. at Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 425 Newhall St., Hamden.
