Karen Conlon Wnek, age 61, of Hamden passed away on June 9, 2017. Born in New Haven on May 28, 1956, she was the daughter of Claire E. Conlon of Hamden and the late Thomas G. Conlon. She was a former Legal Secretary at Garity Associates Insurance Co. She is survived by her loving children; Jacqueline (Samuel) Borowiec, of Windsor, and Richard (Karen) Wnek, Jr., of Wallingford, siblings; Thomas (Maria) Conlon, of Wallingford, and MaryEllen (Alfred) Bianchi, of Orange, two grandsons; Brandon Wnek and Chase Borowiec, six nieces & nephews; TJ, Marc, and Taylor Conlon, and Alfred, Robert, and Joseph Bianchi, and her step-grandmother, Carol McGowan. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 13, at 10:00 AM in St. Rita Church, 1620 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Please meet directly at the church. Burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
