Katherine 'Kaye' E. Ceraso, age 87, of Hamden, passed away on May 14, 2013. Kaye was the widow of Frank W. Ceraso. Born in Lowell, MA on February 25, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Raymond & Catherine Carroll Grimshaw. Kaye is survived by her daughter, Christine Parisi & her husband Peter of Wallingford; her son Francis Ceraso & his wife Mary of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Allison & Amanda Parisi & MacKensie Ceraso; sisters Mary Soules of Durham, Carol Mennone of Wallingford & Barbara Davidson of VA; brothers Edward Grimshaw of Hamden & Robert Grimshaw of East Haven and several nieces & nephews. Kaye was predeceased by her sister Theresa Souhrada and her brothers John, Raymond & Thomas Grimshaw. A resident of Hamden most of her life, she was a retired Claims Adjuster of the Century Insurance Company and a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Friends may attend her funeral on Friday, May 17th at 10:00 AM from BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Ascension Church, 1040 Dunbar Hill Rd, Hamden and may visit with her family at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
