Kathleen Mary Westervelt, 72, passed away on May 23, 2024 at St. Raphael's Hospital. Kathleen was born on January 23, 1952 in New Haven to the late Harold and Janet Setaro Fitch. She was a lifelong resident of Hamden, graduating from Hamden High in 1969. For the holidays, she enjoyed baking for her family. Kathy will be remembered by her children, Colleen (Melvin Jr.) Wilkes and Rob Westervelt; her grandchildren, Breanna, Jordan, Taylor, Tali, Madison, and Jackson; great-granddaughter, Melody, her sister, Debra Capasso, and niece, Nicole Vanover. Kathy's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Raphael's Hospital.

Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul VI Parish-Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on Wednesday, May 29th at 12:00 p.m., followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hamden. BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, in care of arrangements.
