Meriden- Laura Fox Graham, 75, wife of Alan A. Graham passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at MidState Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1932 in Meriden a daughter of the late Christian and Mildred (Webb) Fox. She attended Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg, ME. Prior to retiring Laura worked as a head cashier at Caldor's Department Store. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star- Meridian Chapter #8 and the National Rifle Association. Laura was the World Champion Black Powder Shooter in Kitchner, Ontario, Canada winning the Gold Medal in 1987. She was also a member of the U.S. International Muzzle Loading Team. She loved to cook, spending time with her children and grandchildren and her beloved pets. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Besides her husband Alan, she is survived by a daughter, Jill and her husband Kevin Casey of Meriden, two sons and their wives, Jeffrey and Kathleen Graham of Andover, CT, George Graham and Ramona Agro of East Hampton, Ct, four grandchildren, Steven Casey of Meriden, Michael and Tracy Casey of Meriden, Justin Graham serving in the U.S. Navy in Beaufort, SC and Jessica Cascio of Meriden and one great-grandson, Nicholas Alan Jackson. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Stuart and Christian Fox. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Tuesday, May 13 from 4-8pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Laura's memory may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
