Lidia ''Lida'' Martins, 86, wife of the late Alexander Martins, Sr. of Middle Rd., Guilford, formerly of Hamden, passed away Nov. 12, 2002 in CT Hospice. Mother of Alexander Martins, Jr. and his wife Luba H. Martins of Guilford, grandmother of Alexander Martins, III, Steven Martins and Catherine Baldwin, great-grandmother of Alexander Martins IV, Catherine Martins, Steven Martins, Hunter Martins, and Ashley Baldwin. Funeral service will be Thursday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. in St. Alexis Orthodox Church, 108 East Main St., Clinton. Friends may call AT CHURCH Wednesday (TODAY) from 5-7 p.m. Panikhida Service at 7 p.m. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Memorial contributions may be sent to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
