MERIDEN - Lillian J. Brown, 84, formerly of 127 Veteran St., died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at Meriden Nursing and Rehabilitaion Center. She was the wife of the late Norman Brown. Born in Meriden on August 3, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Axel T. and Esther E. Erlandson Johnson. Until her retirement, she had worked at the Sherri Manufacturing Company in Berlin. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Meriden Senior Center and the Salvation Army. She is survived by a sister, Ruth J. Olson of Meriden and eight nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Norman C. Brown; two sisters, Elizabeth Dellinger and Margaret Durin; and a brother, Carl Johnson. The funeral will be held Monday, July 7, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Perry L. Beaver will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
