Obituary

In Glastonbury, Ct. January 22, 2005. Lillian Crossland Kroll, formerly of West Haven. Wife of the late Lester B. Kroll. Born in New Haven on July 24, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Alice Westfield Crossland. Lillian retired after 40 years of service as Chief Operator for the Southern New England Telephone Co. A 50 year member of Golden Rod Chapter # 34, O.E.S. and Christ Episcopal Church of West Haven, where she was a member of the Alter Guild. Mrs. Kroll is survived by sons; Raymond Kroll and his wife, Gloria of Amston, Ct. and Malcolm Kroll and wife, Judith of Branford and St. Petersburg, Fl. Sister of Jannette Hamilton of Southbury. Also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by; a son , Kenneth A. Kroll, sisters; Alice Willis, Victoria Williams, Marion Dudley and Vivian Eastwood, Brothers; Kenneth Crossland and Oliver Crossland. Funeral service at Christ Episcopal Church of West Haven on Wednesday, January 26th at 11 A.M. Friends may call at the BEECHER AND BENNETT - TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. West Haven Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 Am. An Eastern Star Service by Golden Rod Chapter # 34, O.E.S. will be held at 10:15 A.M.
