In Meriden, Feb. 10, 2006, Loraine D. Truskowski, 65, passed away at her home on Avery Ave., she was was the beloved wife of 44 years to Frank T. Truskowski. Born in Adams, MA, January 3, 1941 a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Brendza Mendel. She had been employed as a cafeteria aid in the Meriden School System. She was a wonderful cook who truly enjoyed her time in the kitchen. When she wasn't working she was spending quality time with her family while fishing off of Block Island and vacationing in Vermont. Her life would not have been complete had she not spent so much time enjoying her two grandsons, her pride and joy. Besides her husband she leaves her daughter, Amy Ingala and her husband, Timothy of Southington, grandsons, Nicholas and Anthony Ingala of Southington, and her three brothers, Walter Mendel and his wife, Lorraine of Wappingers Falls, NY, Tony Mendel and his wife, Cindy and Robert Mendel and his wife, Julie all of Adams, MA. Loraine was a very caring and giving person who will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Funeral Service Wed., Feb. 15, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Friends may call Tues. from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
