Louis 'Sonny' Raymond Angelo, 88, of Hamden, passed away on April 5, 2011. Born in New Haven on Feb. 6, 1923, he was a son of the late Frank & Pauline Ferucci Angelo. He was the husband of Lillian J. Platino Angelo. Lou was the former owner of Parkway Package Store & co-owner of Robert Lewis Real Estate, with his son Robert who predeceased him. Besides his wife, Lou is survived by his daughter, Judith Johnson & her husband David of Old Saybrook, daughter in-law Lori & her husband Robert Viets of Hamden and his grandchildren that he was very proud of, Kimberly Kelly, Michele Mathews, Dana White & Christopher Angelo. He loved to hear stories about his great grandchildren, Liam, Nathan, Morgan, Ryan & Madeline. Lou also leaves his sister, Gloria Possidente & her husband Al of Hamden & several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, John, Mack, Frank & Albert & sisters, Molly, Mary & Dolly. Lou had the gift of gab and had a story about everyone & everything. He was a real Charmer. He loved to golf, cook & was a terrific dancer, which is how he meet his wife of 66 years. Lou's family would like to thank the nurses & techs on SLA2 & ICU at St. Raphael's & Hospice.
