Louis A. Larsen, 'Red', 92, passed away on December 28th in Williamsport, PA. He was born in New Haven on October 7, 1919 to the late Louis and Florence Goss Larsen, Sr. Louis was predeceased by his wives, Marian & Isabelle; daughter, Carol; granddaughter, Lynn; sisters, Ruth Whitaker & Sylvia Brockett; brother Paul Larsen. Louis leaves his daughter, Elizabeth Higginson & her husband Branin Boyd of Liberty, PA; two grandsons; nephew, Robert Whitaker of West Haven; niece, Paula Larsen-Martens of Hamden. He is a WWII Veteran and retired from the US Postal Service. Friends may visit with his family on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at BEECHER & BENNETT , 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.
