At Connecticut Hospice, Aug. 28, 2006, Madeline A. Lupoli Carloni, wife of Achille (Augie) Carloni of New Haven. She was born June 30, 1927, the first child of the late Gennaro (Jerry) and Alice Mongillo Lupoli. Mother of James G. Carloni, Esq., CPA of Bethany and Richard A. Carloni of New Haven; grandmother of Mansell J. Carloni; sister of Lenora M. (Ken) Erickson of West Haven, Marion J. Boulia of Havelock, NC, Carmen M. (Giovanna) Lupoli of Orange and Geraldine A. Lupoli, Esq. (Thomas Creamer) of Orange. Madeline graduated from Albertus Magnus College, received a Master's Degree from SCSU and did post-graduate study at Yale. She was the Head Librarian at the Scranton Library, and then taught at St. Anthony's School and at Roberto Clemente School. She was a member of the Ladies Marchegian Society. Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Anthony's Church on Thurs., Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
