Mahiba S. Almaza, 95, beloved wife of the late Soubhi 'Danny' Almaza, of Collett St., North Haven, passed away Febraury 11, 2010 after a brief illness. Mrs. Almaza was born in Rayak, Lebanon, a daughter of the late Asaad and Soraya Hajj Sfeir and had lived in North Haven for many years. She is survived by her loving daughter Claire A. Ayoub of North Haven, her daughter-in-law Hannalore Almaza, grandchildren Carla Ayoub and Johanna Almaza and great-granddaughters, Jasmyne and Jacinda. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, Tuesday morning Feb. 16, at 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Naji Kiwan in St. Rita Church at 11 a.m. Friends may visit with her family Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:30. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
