Marc J. "The Toolman" Barton, 60, passed away on October 30, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in New Haven on November 21, 1956 son of the late Robert and Jane Lynch Barton. He was the beloved husband of 28 years to Kay Barrows Barton. Marc was a longtime maintenance technician at the Highview Apartments in Middletown. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, often with a Budweiser in one hand and a Marlboro cigarette in the other. Marc was an avid fan of wrestling and liked old hard rock music. He is survived by his siblings Gail Sudol of Wallingford, Bruce Barton of Bristol, Jimmy Barton of Canada, and Matthew Barton of Wallingford; Brothers-in-law Ron Jeannette (Sarah) of Hamden, and Robert Jeannette of Meriden. He also leaves behind the dogs he loved so much, JoJo and Mary. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering for Marc on Saturday, November 4 at 12:00PM noon at Hubbard Park, Meriden.
