Marcel Rene Languerand, Jr., age 34, of Hamden, formerly a longtime resident of Bethany, passed away on December 9, 2015. Born in New Haven on December 1, 1981, he was the son of Cathy Suchy Languerand of Bristol and Marcel Rene Languerand of Florida. Growing up on a horse farm and driving a tractor as young as the age of 4 led him to his career as a truck driver and self-employed mechanic. He was a graduate of Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury. Marcel is also survived by his sister, Sherry Languerand of West Virginia, uncles, Stephen, Anthony J. & Peter Suchy and Steven & Alfred Languerand; aunts, Marie & Debbie Languerand, paternal grandparents, R.G. & DeDe Languerand of Missouri, his girlfriend Tracy Dolceacqua and her son, Daniel Falcioni, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Anthony J. Suchy, Sr. and Mildred Suchy. Friends may visit with his family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Saturday, December 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service to be held at 6:00 PM. Contribution in Marcel's memory may be made to Shepard Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center, 733 Hill St. #1, Bristol, CT 06010. Interment will be private.
