Margaret K. Hultgren, affectionately known as Margie, passed away on February 10, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. She was born in Meriden on May 6, 1932, the daughter of the late Henry Karrer and Martha Kolb Karrer. Margie is survived by her children, Krista LaBrie and her husband Kenneth of Middletown and Eric Hultgren and his wife Corrin of Rockfall, along with her grandchildren Tyra and Tatum Hultgren.
Margie was a very kind person with a strong sense of family and wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and loved to laugh. She faced challenges by "rolling with the punches," as she would say. Margie worked for General Electric for many years until her retirement, and was a long-time member of St. John Lutheran Church in Meriden. Margie will be missed very much by all who loved her.
A memorial service celebrating Margie's life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM in St. John Lutheran Church, 520 Paddock Avenue, Meriden.
