MARGARET A. SELMONT Margaret Ann Selmont, 93, wife of the late Anthony Selmont, formerly of 135 Putnam Ave, Hamden passed away Thurs., March 23, 2006 after a brief illness. Mrs. Selmont was born in New Haven April 18, 1912, a daughter of the late Anthony and Nancy Cimmino DellaCava and had resided in New Haven for most of her life before moving to Hamden. She was employed at Consolidated Laundries, attended St. Donato's Church, and loved baking and cooking for her family. Mother of Lucille Velleca and her husband Neil A. Velleca of Hamden and Nancy Miller of Hamden and her late husband Rudolph "Rudy" Miller. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs Selmont was predeceased by her sisters Jennie Cimmino, Sophie Wiacek, Nellie Kohloff, and brothers, Ralph DellaCava and Augustine Delcavo. Funeral service will be Mon., March 27, at 11:30 am at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Friends may call Sun. from 3-6 pm. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
