In CT Hospice, May 27, 2003, Margaret Gustavson Smith, 79, wife of Raymond A. Smith of 70 Southwick Ct., Cheshire formerly of Hamden, mother and mother-in-law of Jan and Leon Slomkowski of Hamden and Karen Jones of Plantsville, grandmother of Sarah and Julia Jones and Heidi, Kate and Tyler Slomkowski, sister of William E. Gustavson of New Orleans, LA and the late George R. Gustavson. Margaret was born in New Haven, Aug. 14, 1924 a daughter of the late Oscar and Esther Setterlind Gustavson. She was a long time active member of Dunbar United Church and was a member of the Embers at Whitneyville Church.
