Margaret Noone Walsh of Wallingford died at home on April 19, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Walsh was born in New Haven on September 15, 1921 to Charles Barry and Rose Thilburg Noone. She married in 1950 to her late husband Robert Sheridan Walsh. Having spent most of her life in the Spring Glen area of Hamden, Margaret moved to Wallingford in 1984. Margaret Walsh leaves behind her children, Mary Ann (David) Lewis of Rockville, MD, Margaret (Frank) Pereira of Birmingham, MI, Kathleen (Jerry) Miller of Somesville, ME, Eileen (Greg) Smith of North Haven, Robert (Susan) Walsh of Cheshire and Rosemary (Michael) Iapalucci of Washington, DC. She is survived by 16 grandchildren, Charles and Robert Lewis, Caitlin Pereira, Hannah, Nora, and Lila Miller, Breda and Mairead Smith, Charles, Kelly, and Daniel Walsh, Aiman, Maria, Anelle, Josephine, and Margaret Iapalucci and by her sister, Eileen Noone McCarty of Alexandria, VA. Margaret was predeceased by her son Charles Noone Walsh and brother Charles Michael Noone. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Saturday, April 24th at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita's Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
