Maria Teresa Martinez, 43, beloved wife of Jeremy Rice, passed away after a short illness at Hartford Hospital on May 26, 2020. Born in Meriden on June 7, 1976 to Teresa Serrano Martinez of Meriden and the late Sigfredo Martinez. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Maria appreciated traveling and loved photography, especially if she was photographing her family. Besides her husband and mother, she was survived by her siblings, Lewis and Awilda Martinez; and her fur babies, Daisy and Lucky. She was predeceased by her sister, Delia and her dog, Abby.
