Marian I. Petruzzello, 93, of Bethany, wife of the late Albert Petruzzello, passed away on September 30, 2011. Born in Middletown on January 1, 1918 to the late Paul and Concetta Formica Didato. Marian was an amazing mother to her daughters, Ann Valente and her husband George of Hamden, Connie Nappi and her husband Jimmie, and Nancy Criscuolo and her husband Robert all of Bethany, loving grandmother to Terri Boyce, Donna DiNicola, Connie Valente, Kathy and Kristina Boufford, Julie Nappi and thirteen great grandchildren, plus eight great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary Coccomo, and Angelia Didato and her brothers, Mike, Louis, and Sal Didato. More than anything, Marian loved caring for her home and cooking for all her family. Her funeral will leave from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Monday, October 3rd at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption, 75 Center Rd., Woodbridge. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Entombment will take place in St. Lawrence Mausoleum, West Haven.
