Marie Blanche Carrolla, 89, formerly of Cheshire, passed away May 23, 2020 in Masonicare of Wallingford after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven May 6, 1931 a daughter of the late Salvatore F. and Teresa Maria Altieri Carrolla, and recently resided at Pond Ridge/Ashlar Village in Wallingford.

Marie was employed as a store manager at JC Penney in Hamden and North Haven.

She is survived by a sister Sara Gibertoni, a niece and her husband Gail and Thomas Larson, a great nephew Thomas Larson, and a great niece Erica Larson. She was predeceased by sister Barbara Ann Carrolla, niece Sandra Gibertoni, and brother-in-law Erio Gibertoni.

She will be buried in the family plot in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
