Marie R. Howard, 100, wife of the late Stanley Howard passed away at Masonicare of Wallingford June 19, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven August 12, 1915 a daughter of the late Jacob and Lena Mester Rosinus and had lived in the New Haven area most of her life. Mother of Bonnie L. Howard of Edmonds, WA, Ronald D. (Mabel) Howard of Simsbury, CT, and Donald (Patricia) Howard of Naples, FL. Grandmother of Deborah (Craig Lee) Howard of Seattle, WA, Laura (Andrew) Vaughn of Glastonbury, Kristine (Duane) Grovenburg of Canton, Douglas Howard of Middletown, and Pamela (Aaron Scott) Howard of West Hartford. Great-grandmother of Madeline, Sonja, Brody, Derek, Jason, Timothy, Jacob and Noah. Sister of the late Walter R. Rosinus. Marie was a daughter, sister, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, aunt, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, co-worker, and friend. She was very loving and much loved...and she will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday June 25, at 1 PM in the Chapel of Masonic Healthcare, 22 Masonic Ave, Wallingford.
