South Meriden - Marion Belle Comstock, 81, formerly of 163 Evansville Ave., died Sat., July 13, 2002 at CT Baptist Home in Meriden. She was the wife of Raymond Edward Comstock. She was born in Esmond, RI, Dec. 4, 1920, a daughter of the late Elton L. and Susie Longfellow Mathewson. She had been employed as a secretary at the former Jefferson Savings Bank. She was a Grange member for 64 years, the last membership with Cheshire Grange # 63. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Judith Orlando of Southington, two sons, Donald E. Comstock of Wallingford and Richard E. Comstock of Lisbon, NH, a sister, Mildred Lewis of North Providence, RI, nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan DuBois, a brother, Edmund C. DeLaCour, a sister, Lillis Packman and two grandchildren, Dean and Kim Lattman. A private service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
