Marion Della Rocca, 73, of Hamden passed away on November 18. She was the widow of Angelo R. Della Rocca who died in 1982. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Benintende. She moved to Hamden eight years ago to be near her loving grandsons. Marion is survived by son Ralph Della Rocca and his wife Phyllis, son Michael Della Rocca and his wife Christine Hayes, daughter Marianna Ridley and her husband Richard, grandsons Benjamin and Ethan Della Rocca, sister Frances Garibaldi, several nieces and nephews, and many cousins with whom she shared happy times from childhood until the present day. The hours for visitation will be Saturday, Nov 22, from 3-7 pm at Beecher and Bennett, 2300 Whitney Avenue in Hamden.
