Marlene J. Civale, 90, of Meriden, passed away on November 24, 2021. She was born in Meriden on October 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Maurice and Helene Zimmerman Charnysh and is survived by her son Glenn J. Civale, nephew Christopher Charnysh, niece Lynn Charnysh, and cousins Ivanette Goodrich and Ivanette Goodrich II . Besides her parents she was predeceased by her children Paul Civale III, Nadine Civale, and brother Wayne Charnysh. Marlene was a secretary and book keeper for HJ Kelley & Associates, Taft Construction, Meriden Airport and Radiology Associates. She was also a member of the Meriden Poetry Society and Junior Womens Club. She enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid lover of jazz music.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are in care of Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, Meriden.
