In FirstHealth Moore Hospital, Pinehurst, NC, May 26, 2004, Martha Edwards Round, 88, wife of the late Robert B. Round, Sr., of Pinehurst, formerly of Evergreen Ave., Hamden. Mrs. Round was born in Buffalo, NY, Jan. 9, 1916. She moved to Sandhills, NC in 1970 and worked at Golf World Magazine for many years. She is survived by a son, Robert B. Round, Jr. of Pinehurst, three grandchildren, Todd R. Round of Aberdeen, NC, Kevin R. Round of Richmond, VA and Candy Round Pena of Columbus, OH. Also survived by two great-granddaughters. A graveside service will be held Wed., June 2, 2004 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Cemetery, Hamden. Arrangements under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT.
