Marvin L. Garfield, 71 of 11 Medford St., West Haven husband of the late Helen DePalma Garfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct 19 at Conn. Hospice in Branford. He was born in West Haven on July 31, 1931 a son of the late Lesley and Elaine Joyce Garfield. Mr. Garfield retired from ElectroStatic Tech as a buyer in 2000 after 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by three daughters; Valerie, Tracy and Lisa Garfield all of West Haven, a son Mark Garfield of West Haven, one sister; Sindy Collins of Norwell, MA and two brothers; Edward Garfield of Hawaii and Bruce Garfield of Sacramento, CA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7pm at the Community of Christ Church ,387 Spring St.,Orange. Burial will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 10:00am at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
