MERIDEN - Mary Ann Lindstrom, 63, of Meriden passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was born in York, Pennsylvania July 19, 1938, the daughter of Herbert Shaefer of Boise, Idaho and the late Esther Shanaborough Shaefer. She was employed as a registered nurse at Miller Memorial Community. Besides her father, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Mark Becker of Meriden; a son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Cathy Lindstrom of Westport, CT; a sister, Gale Messersmith of York, Pennsylvania and three grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 28, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 164 Hanover St., Meriden. The Rev. Perry L. Beaver will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in York, PA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT.
