Mary Ann Lucas, 68, of Wallingford, passed away on July 13, 2024 at Hartford Hospital in Harford, CT. She was born on June 30, 1956, a daughter of the late Irene Lucas. She was pre-deceased by her best friends Edith Bisi and Mary Nagy, and will be laid to rest beside them.
Mary Ann grew up in Waterford, CT and spent most of her adult years in Wallingford, CT. She worked for ACCORD and was also connected to Midstate ARC, and the Discovery Center. She enriched Residential Management Services, where she shared her life's journey for 41 years. Everywhere she went she made friends with her infectious smile, and devilish laugh. Mary Ann had a gift of drawing people to herself, and in turn created a rich circle of loyal friends and loved ones that traveled through life with her.
A funeral service celebrating Mary Ann's life will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT. Friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the service. Interment will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden.
