Mary Barile Murphy, age 99, of Hamden passed away on December 31, 2013. Born in New Haven on June 19, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Theresa DelVecchio Barile. Mary is survived by her son John F. Murphy, Jr of Hamden and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Willis, Jennie (Jean) Briar & Dorothy DeLeonardo and brothers, Joseph A. Barile, Sr, and Anthony Barile. Mary was a housekeeper retired from Yale University, prior to that she was employed for the Rite Box Corporation and the former Olin Mathieson Corp. Her funeral and burial will be Private.
