In Meriden, Jan. 7, 2003, Mary Nagorski, 76, of Medford St., West Haven, wife of the late Peter Nagorski, mother of Lucy N. Evans of Hamden, Michael Nagorski of Southington, Walter Nagorski of Shrewsbury, MA and John Nagorski of Orange, grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mary was born in Poland, Jan. 3, 1927 daughter of the late Peter and Anna Kowalyk Szymko she arrived in New Haven from Germany in 1950. She worked for house services at SNET Co. for 30 years retiring in 1989. She was a parishoner at St. Michael Ukranian Church in New Haven. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven, Sat., Jan. 11 at 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church , 569 George St., New Haven at 9 a.m. Friends may call Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. Panachyda service Friday at 7 p.m.
