Mary Ann Pratt, 88, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024 at the Arden House in Hamden, CT.

Mary was born on February 12, 1936 in North Haven, CT. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Robert Eugene Pratt, Sr; and her siblings, Matthew Flanagan and Geraldine Flanagan. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Louella Pratt of New Haven, and Mary Ellen Hartshorn of Southington; her son, Robert E. Pratt, Jr. of Torrington; and one granddaughter, Leiah Evans. Mary grew up and resided in New Haven for most of her life. Mary and her husband shared a love of trains. She and her husband had been members of the Windsor Locks and East Haven Trolley Museums. Mary had an immense appreciation for the small things in life like visiting with friends and neighbors, relaxing days at Chatfield Hollow, taking in the view of vibrant flowers and lazy afternoons on her porch.

Friends are invited to visit with Mary's family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Tuesday, June 11th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., followed by her Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband whom she adored.
