West Haven - Maurice V. Brown 86, of Smith St., husband of the late Helen Pellegrino Brown died Aug. 18, 2005 at the West Haven Veteran's Medical Center. He was the uncle of Frederick Brown of West Haven. Predeceased by a brother, James E. Brown. Maurice was born in Waterbury, CT, Sept. 25, 1918 a son of the late Guy H. and Anna Dee Brown. He served in the US Army during WW II and received a Purple Heart. He worked for the Dept. of Revenue Services for the State of CT for 12 years. Prior to living in West Haven he was a resident of East Haven. Funeral arrangements and burial with BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME were private.
