Krischtschun, Max F. Max F. Krischtschun, age 97, of Braeside Dr. Hamden, passed away at his home, Sept. 4, 2008. Max was the husband of the late Lydia Ludwig Krischtschun and father of the late Oscar Krischtschun. He is survived by his daughter in-law Sharon Krischtschun of Hamden; grandchildren, Deborah and her husband, Michael Mallozzi, Kenneth and his wife, Holly Krischtschun and Pamela Krischtschun and her companion, Kelly Frechette; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Kevin and Andrew Mallozzi, Miles, Erika and Jaclyn Krischtschun, brother in-law Walter and his wife Marie Ludwig and sisters in-law Helene Ludwig & Erna Malisch. Max also leaves several nieces and nephews in CT, Canada and Germany. Besides his wife and son Max was predeceased by his sister Ida Ludschwait and brothers, Walter Krischtschun, Gustav and Ewalt Reil. Max was born in Lithuania a son of the late George and Anna Bremen Krischtschun. He had retired from the New Haven Water Company as a supervisor and was a member of the Harugari Singing Society of West Haven. Max was always appreciative of the care that together Sharon, Debbie, Ken, Pam and Kelly gave him so that he was able to remain in his home as he wished. His funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 8 at 10 AM in BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, followed by burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Hamden. Friends may visit with his family at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM.
