Power, Megan Megan Power, 27, of Hamden died peacefully at home Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Daughter of Marjorie (William) Pfeffer and Robert (Elizabeth) Power, step-sister of Christopher Pfeffer, Sr., Jeffrey (Nicole) Manente, Heidi Pfeffer and fiance Christopher Wayne, and Lisa Fabrizi, granddaughter of Elsie Pfeffer and aunt of beloved nephew Christopher Pfeffer, Jr. and Michael Manente, and nieces Alison Steferak and Gabriella Fabrizi. Megan is also survived by numerous uncles including Dave Power, Theodore (Liz) Maguder, James (Eva) Maguder, aunts including Gail Tarczali, Jane Brady and Linda Riccardi, cousins, and friends, especially Karen Riccardi, Patricia Archibald, Ty, Beth, Hanna, Adam and Paige (godchild) Perez, Michael, Jennifer, Angela and Ava Marenna and her loving pets Clarence and Madison. She was predeceased by grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Power, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Maguder and Mr. William F. Pfeffer. Megan was a graduate of Hamden High School, studied at Loyola College of Baltimore and graduated with her BA, with high honors, from Albertus Magnus College of New Haven. She was very caring about others and strongly dedicated to the needs and welfare of all people. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron, Meriden at 11 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2007. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, also in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, donations in Megan's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
