Michael Celotto, age 94, of West Haven, passed away on September 4, 2017. Born in New Haven on December 10, 1922, he was a son of the late Luigi & Luisa (Anastasia) Celotto. Michael was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine (Scala) Celotto; his sisters, Emily Sagnella, Mary Colavolpe, & Anna Celotto, and brothers, Aniello Celotto & Anthony Celotto. He is survived by his son, Michael J. Celotto of West Haven; his daughter, Paula Berube & her husband Mark E. of Hamden; his grandchildren Mark & Karissa Berube; sister Antoinette Esposito; a loving and caring niece Anita Massini of North Haven, and close family friend John Sabatucci of Wallingford. Michael was a resident of West Haven most of his life. He was a machinist for over 40 years, employed by the former Olin Corporation, retiring in 1984. Friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at St. Anthony's Church, 70 Washington Ave., New Haven at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
