In Hamden, Mildred "Millie" Lombardi, 89, formerly of Wintergreen Ave., passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare Arden House in Hamden. She was the wife of the late Maurice G. Lombardi. She was born August 8, 1916 in New Haven a daughter of the late Alex and Claire Dombrowski Lesco. Millie lived in Hamden since 1949 and had owned her own antique business. She is survived by a grandson, Jeffrey and his wife, Tracey Lombardi of Middletown and a sister, Helen Patterson of Hamden. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald W. Lombardi, a sister, Estelle Onofrio and brothers, Rudy Lesco, Paul Gauggel and Walter Lesco. Relatives and friends may call at Beecher & Bennett, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Wed., August 24 from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
