Obituary

Millicent Pauline Bradley, 97 years and 9 days old passed away in Masonicare, Wallingford on Saturday, December 3, 2005. Born November 24, 1908, in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Effie Rohr, and the widow of Wesley A. Bradley. She is survived by two daughters, Eunice B. Kirby of Charlotte, NC, and Barbara B. Petersen of Scarborough, ME, and seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Mrs Bradley was a life-long resident of City Point, New Haven and a member of the United Methodist Church. At the time of her death she was the oldest resident of City Point. Her door on South Water Street was always open to friends and neighbors, and she was affectionately regarded as the " Grand Lady of City Point". Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven, Tuesday evening from 7-9 and are invited to attend a graveside service in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Wednesday morning December 7 at 10:30.
