Milton H. Whited, 80, of 334 Curtis St. Meriden died Thursday at CT. Hospice, Branford. He was the husband of Patricia Fahl Whited. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, July 7, 1921 son of the late Milton Rueben and Clara DeWolf Whited. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WW II. Mr Whited was a graduate of Ohio State, Denver University, Central CT State University and the University of Hartford. He was a school teacher in region 13, Durham, CT prior to his retirement.He was a member of the Antique Veterans Association. Besides his wife he is survived by daughters, Cynthia F. Whited of Concord, NC, Laurel F. Whited of Meriden, sons, Perry DeWolf Whited of Wallingford and Randall H. Whited of North Branford, sisters, Catherine Shoemaker of Pittsboro, NC, JoAnne Nevelle of Shaker Heights, OH and Elizabeth Anderson of Carlsbad, CA, also survived by 4 grandchildren, Ryan T. Whited and Connor P. Whited both of Wallingford, Tiffany Rose Whited and Nicholas Whited both of North Branford. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9th at 10:00 a.m. at First Church of Christ, 250 Main St., Wethersfield, CT. Friends are invited to attend a reception in the fellowship hall following the service. Interment with military honors will be held at Duck River Cemetery, Old Lyme, CT at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
