Minerva F.
Taylor
January 1, 1930 – April 15, 2026
Minerva F. Taylor, 96, wife of the late Dr. Gurney Taylor, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 15, 2026 at Whitney Rehabilitation Center in Hamden, CT. Born in Plattsburg, NY on January 1, 1930 to the late George and Anna Krause Frazier.
Minerva grew up in Keeseville, NY before graduating Salutatorian from Columbia University. She spent most of her adult life working as a Lab Technician in New York City. The city is where she rekindled an old friendship with Gurney, who would later become her husband. They moved to Center Sandwich, NH, where they spent the next 20 years enjoying retirement. Minerva was an adventurist at heart who enjoyed traveling all over the world, including New Zealand, Alaska, Australia, and multiple European destinations. When not on another continent, she took pleasure in socializing with friends, and most importantly loved time with her family.
Besides her parents and husband, Minerva was predeceased by her brother William. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Frazier; niece, Ellyn and Brian Ferguson; nephew, Doug and Mary Frazier; great-niece and nephew, Hannah and Lucas Frazier; and sister-in-law, Patricia Corbett.
