On October 5, 2007, Mona Bottomley Tirendi, 80, of 471 Evergreen Ave., Hamden, passed away. Wife of Francis (Frank) Tirendi. Mother of Monica G. Tirendi of North Haven. Daughter of the late Harold J. and Monica Short Bottomley. She was a graduate of West Haven High School and graduated from the University of Connecticut with her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. She worked for the Late Dennis O'Connor M.D. She was a facilitator for the Hamden Senior Trips and an active volunteer in Hamden for several years. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Tuesday, October 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
