Monica Mary Pellegrino, 88, life long resident of New Haven, wife of the late Louis Pellegrino, passed away on July 3, 2013. Born in New Haven on September 2, 1924 to the late Pasquale and Grace Solimini Acri. Monica is survived by her brother, James Acri and his wife Jean of Prospect and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, Louis Pellegrino, Jr; brothers, Pasquale, Jr, Anthony, and Ralph Acri. Friends are invited to join her family on Monday, July 8th at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church, 29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, followed by a burial in All Saints Cemetery.
