Muriel H. Schultz, age 92, of Hamden, passed away on December 13, 2017. Born in New Haven on March 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late George & Ethel (Schmeltz) O'Connell. Muriel was the widow of Jack E. Schultz and sister of the late Albert, George, & Russell O'Connell. She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline "Lynn" Schultz of Hamden; her son Mark C. Schultz & his wife Linda of Hamden; and her granddaughter Lauralynn Schultz of Watertown. Muriel was a US Army Veteran and a private duty registered nurse, after her retirement she was a volunteer nurse for Hospice. She lived in Florida for the past 30 years, recently returning to Hamden. Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements are in care of Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden.
