Nancy H. Elliott, 96, of Cheshire, formerly of Hamden, wife of the late Allen R. Elliott, passed away on October 10, 2022 at Elim Park. During her final days she was lovingly cared for at home by her family. She was born in Beverly, MA on August 21, 1926, a daughter of the late Philip and Hilda Strandall Hord of Seglinsburg, Sweden. Nancy is survived by her sons; Stephen Elliott (Susan Thompson) of Newton, MA and Mark Elliott (Jane) of Hamden, her daughter, Susan Elliott (Jeff Hill) of Beverly, MA, daughter-in-law Judith Elliott of Koh Phangan, Thailand, eight grandchildren; Jackson, Skye, Arielle, Jesse, Marissa, Lindsay, Andrew, and Elliott (Eli), and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Kenneth, and her sisters, Louise and Ruth. For over 60 years, Nancy was an active member of Spring Glen Church, serving on the Women's Fellowship and many other committees. She was also a member of PEO, and a former member of the High Lane Club. She adored being with all of her family and especially loved the summers spent on Cape Cod. Nancy's spirit, love and kindness touched many people's lives.
A Memorial Service will be held at Nelson Hall at Elim Park, 150 Cook Hill Rd., Cheshire, CT on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to the Spring Glen Church, 20 Glen Parkway, Hamden, CT 06517.
