Nancy Ellen Steinbach Mack, 81, of Hamden died Wednesday, December 19, 2007. Mother of Pamela Lewis and her husband Mark, Wendy Mack-Chatfield and her husband Raymond, all of Hamden and William J. Mack III and his wife Deena of Woodbridge. Also survived by six grandchildren: William (fiancee Courtney Dann), Timothy (wife Barrett), and Peter Mack, Mark, Jr. and Amanda Lewis, and Bonnie Chatfield, sister-in-law Gay Steinbach of North Haven and niece Tracy Steinbach. She was predeceased by brother Bernard A. Steinbach, Jr. Daughter of the late Bernard A. and Bertha Del Levy Steinbach, Nancy was born in New Haven. She was active in the Bonsai Society of Greater New Haven, where she was president for many years. She had been previously active in the American Red Cross.
