Naomi A. Seays, At her home, June 5, 2002, Naomi A. Seays, 77, of 230 Treadwell St., Hamden, wife of the late John J. Seays, adopted mother of James Seays of Clinton Township, MI. sister of Mary Garth of Hamden, Dorman Ransom and sister-in-law of Leon Ransom both of New Haven Augustus Anderson of Evansville, IN and William Anderson of Chicago, IL. Also survived by 2 granddaughters, 2 nieces, Melba Crowley and Marsha Ransom McAlpine-Moore, 1 grandniece, and 3 grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Preston Anderson. She was born in Evansville, IN, May 28, 1925 a daughter of the late Samuel and Melvina Blackwell Anderson. She was an inspector for Pratt & Whitney and retired in 1989. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 11th at 1:00 p.m. at the Christian Tabernacle Church, 449 Newhall St., Hamden. Viewing will be from 12-1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
