Natalie Del Mastro Caponera of 235 Centerbrook Road, Hamden passed away on February 14, 2010 at Connecticut Hospice. Daughter of the late Anthony & Madeline Fazzone DelMastro, she was born in Shelton, CT on December 25, 1915. After raising her family in Orange, CT she moved to Hamden where she lived for many years. She loved music and playing the piano and was an excellent cook and seamstress. She was the owner of the former Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio in the Chapel Square Mall in New Haven. Natalie was the loving mother of Alberta Lucas and her husband Jess of Fayetteville, GA, Madeline Brozek and her husband Richard of Wallingford, and Raymond J. Muratori and his wife Linda of Old Saybrook, and the loving grandmother of Rebecca Peckham of Atlanta, Amanda Lucas of Nashville, Sarah Suerth of Madison, Raymond Muratori, Jr. of Old Saybrook and Janelle Muratori of Manhattan, N.Y. She also leaves three cherished great-granddaughters; Madeline and Kathryn Peckham and Regan Suerth and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands Renato J. Muratori and Ray Caponera, as well as her sisters Julia Landino and Mary Isella, and brothers John, Frank and Thomas Del Mastro. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, Wednesday, February 17th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will follow in Mount St. Peter's Cemetery in Derby.
