MERIDEN - Neddy Lynn Lawrence, 39, died Friday, March 28, 2008, at MidState Medical Center. She was the common-law wife of Alex Porrini. Born in Calais, Maine on Dec. 9, 1968, she was the daughter of Gloria Digris and stepdaughter of Anthony Digris of Southington. She was a stay-at-home mother and was a member of the Salvation Army. Besides her common-law husband and parents, she is survived by two children, A.J. Porrini and Matthew Porrini; two sisters, P.J. Gontarz and her husband, Joseph of Wallingford and Amy Digris of Meriden; and a brother, John Tupper of Maine. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at the Salvation Army, 22 St. Casimir Drive, Meriden.
